The Burton Street Foundation is situated in the Hillsborough district of Sheffield.
We are based in the old Victorian School that dominates Burton Street.
The other notable landmark to look out for is the Hillsborough Barracks, just past Burton Street, which is now home to Morrisons. This is situated in the vacant area between Langsett Rd and Penistone Rd.
Burton Street itself can be approached either from Penistone Road (A61) or Langsett Road.
The nearest TRAM stop is Bamforth Street (blue or yellow). This is on Langsett Road.
BUS numbers: 11, 12, 13, 14, 57, 58, 58a, 87 pass on Langsett Road.
BUS number 53 on Penistone Road
1. Turn left at the traffic lights just before ‘Montys Motors’ and bear right
2. Turn right with the car showroom on your left
3. Turn right at the traffic lights and move into the left hand lane
4. Turn left at the traffic lights when you see ‘City Plumbing’ ,onto Bamforth Street
5. Continue up Bamforth Street for approx 100 metres
6. Turn right onto Bilston St and at the T junction the Burton Street Foundation is on your left.
