Burton Street Craft Fairs
Burton Street Craft Fairs are held at the Burton Street Foundation site in Hillsborough, in order to raise money for the Foundation, as well as providing a place for local artists, craft sellers and musicians to showcase their talents. The event also provides an opportunity to raise awareness about Burton Street, whilst giving the site users a place to display their artwork and perform in front of an audience.
Burton Street Craft Fairs provide a sustainable source of charitable funding for the Burton Street Foundation, whilst maintaining a regular base for local people to gain exposure and interest in their artistic and musical endeavours. The craft fairs allow local artists, jewellers, clothes makers, potters, photographers and other home craft sellers an outlet to promote and sell their materials.
The event also features performances from local musicians and frequent users of the Burton Street Foundation.
