The Burton Street Foundation will be exhibiting at the Learning Disability Today
event at Hillsborough Stadium next Tuesday 14th May!
"Learning Disability Today focuses on current national objectives and discuss how they can be translated and implemented, to provide high quality local services for people with learning disabilities.
Showcasing innovative projects and organisations that extend choice and control for people with learning disabilities across all areas of their lives, the day of seminars cover a wide range of issues and concerns for people with learning disabilities, their families, carers and the people that work with them." "Sheffield City Council is, this year, supporting Learning Disability
Today with their Learning Disability event on 14th May 2013 at
Hillsborough Football Stadium.
This is a great opportunity for people from Sheffield and the
Yorkshire and Humber region to gather together and debate issues and
share good practice. The event is also a chance for Sheffield City
Council to showcase new approaches being used within the city, for
example the Travel Buddies scheme." (http://pavilion-live.co.uk/learningdisabilitytoday-events/)
