Burton Street Site Entrance Closure, Wednesday 13th June
Sheffield City Council (Streetforce) are relaying the stones and tarmac at the main entrance starting Wednesday 13th June – the work is scheduled to last for 3 days, but if there are any unforeseen circumstances it will be completed on the Saturday.
This means for 3 days we will have no vehicle access to site. Both the pedestrian gates either side of the main entrance will be open and the top entrance will need to be used as a drop off point.
A member of staff will cone off the top entrance early on the Wednesday morning to ensure taxi’s etc have room to pull in.
We appreciate this is a great inconvenience, but it is much quicker to do the work in one go, rather than in two sections and it will be a better result, so please bear with us.
If you can consider not coming by car on those days, that will help with local parking. We have tried to pick days when the site is least busy, so have avoided Tuesdays, but please be aware that hold ups may occur.
Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our site.
