Once Upon A Time
‘Once upon a time there was a magical land called Burton Street, and in Burton Street there was lots of beautiful buildings and within each of them a beautiful setting, where the people of Burton Street could do all sorts of different activities. Some liked to paint, others liked to dance, some preferred to dress up in fun outfits and create stories.
One of the buildings in Burton Street was called ‘Bamforth’, Bamforth was usually full with young and old, all doing what they loved. In the middle of Bamforth was a mysterious park, which, no matter the weather always stayed dry and warm, even when it was raining outside!
In this park people could do all sorts of different things, like juggle and dance, there was even a special corner that was so soft so even the very, very young could play on it and be completely safe! Alongside all of this, there was a café that always had a special drink which could give you burst of energy and food that would keep you full all day!
But one day the people of Burton Street noticed something very sad. Each Friday morning Bamforth was empty, and very, very quiet. This made the people of Burton Street upset, because when Bamforth was full it was the most fun place in the whole of Burton Street! So they decided to do something about it…’
So what did the people of Burton Street do, you ask? Well we’ve decided to create a new parent and toddler* group! We think we might just have the right stuff for an absolutely brilliant play session, we’ve got heaps of room for your little one to wear themselves out by trying to explore, a lovely soft play area, genderless changing spaces so everyone can access the changing room, toys and equipment for messy and fun crafts.
But we need your help to make this fairy tale come true, we need your help to give suggestions and plenty of ideas on what would make your perfect toddler group.
If this sounds like something you’re interested in helping us with, great! Getting involved couldn’t be easier, just come down to our Open Day on the 10th of March any time between 9:30am- 11:30am, where our inside park will be transformed into a kids very own wonderland!
