Senior Manager, Learning Disability Services
Dannielle has been at Burton Street since 2005. She was employed to start and develop a social activities programme for adults with learning disabilities. This meant starting a project from scratch to develop a marketable service. The project has grown immensely over the years, and is now a very large successful service.
She brought with her a vast knowledge and experience of different aspects of supporting adults with learning disabilities having previous worked in council run day service and residential, being a personal assistant and also supporting individuals in their own home and in the community. Dannielle also brought her background in theatre and event management and uses these talents to develop many new and innovative sessions with her staff team.
Dannielle was supported by the organisation to complete her Masters in Drama Therapy and has a therapy service at BSF, with this she is registered with Health and Care Professional Council. She also has an NVQ level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care.
